Registration

  1. Browse our courses, Positive Leadership, Democratic Resilience & Human Rights Law, and Global Challenges through a Berlin Lens. The course descriptions are linked on the Lifelong Learning main page. The class schedules are designed so that a student can register for all three courses if they wish.

  2. Register on our MoveOn application portal and start the application process. Fill in all the fields and state the course title(s) you would like to participate in. Upload your motivation letter (one per course). The motivation letter must answer the following questions: Why do you want to take this course, and what expectations do you have for it?

Mark each page as complete and submit your application.

  3. Proof of your language proficiency and a copy of your student ID may be requested additionally (we will reach out via email).

  4. After you have completed your online registration, we will review your application. You will receive an e-mail from us with the confirmation and a payment request.

Please read the Code of Conduct (PDF) for the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin carefully before registering.

Application deadlines

The registration deadline is listed on each course page. Be aware that classes might fill up before the registration period ends. Early registration is therefore recommended. For those interested in a course that has no available spots, kindly get in touch with our team. They will inform you about the waiting list and other possibilities.
